Cut Panels
K2 hold a wide range of materials in stock including Acrylic (Perspex® & Plexiglas) Polycarbonate (Lexan & Makrolon) PETG (Vivak) plus many others. All of these materials can be cut to size on our CNC equipment. Our optimisation software ensures the best yield every time.
CNC Machining
Our two Rye CNC routers can profile, drill and machine almost any material to extremely tight tolerances. We can also accept your dxf and dwg files by Email reducing lead-times and set-up costs.
Laser Cutting
Our PLN laser cutting system is the largest dedicated acrylic laser cutting facility in the UK. We have four 3mtr x 2mtr cutting beds and four 500w cutting heads. Designed specifically for acrylic the PLNs will cut up to 40mm thick acrylic and can run at much faster rates than ordinary machines.
Laser Engraving
This 500 watt system with a 2000mm x 1000mm cutting bed is a perfect addition to the unique laser technology used by K2.
Thanks to the high power and precision, this system is particularly suited to every design (cutting, engraving, drilling, hollowing) on all types of materials and shapes.
Fabrication
With our team of experienced fabricators we are able to offer a complete and unrivalled fabrication service. This includes bending, gluing, assembly, screen printing, vinyl lettering and oven forming. We are also able to combine other materials and processes such as wood, metal, mouldings, vacuum forming and extrusions.
